Now that the Olympics are over, I am reminded how fortunate we are to live in a warm climate. Although the mercury may dip to 40 degrees occasionally, one fact remains it will always get warmer in South Florida! The weather today is perfect for a sightseeing tour on the water. The Manatee have been very visible the past few weeks and we have also had regular Dolphin sightings on most of the morning tours.

Some customers have asked us how we maintain the DivaDuck vessel when it is doing tours 7 days a week? Good question! Most of our heavy maintenance is performed in September and October, but throughout the year the vessel is maintained (and repairs are performed) during the evening hours. We have a full time mechanic and a fully equipped warehouse to handle heavy duty truck maintenance. If you have any questions or if you would even like to visit our warehouse we welcome the opportunity to meet your requests!

Enough of the cold winter weather! South Florida is once again enjoying temps in the 70's...the Orchids outside our office windows have survived and are beginning to bud, they are spectacular in full bloom. Vandas, Cymbidiums, Phalaenopsis and of course Dendrobiums.

On our tours, we pass the beautiful Gardens at the Society of Four Arts. They also have a Sculpture Garden which is open every day except Sunday and is FREE of charge. There are lots of beautiful places to visit on Palm Beach that will not cost an arm and a leg, just ask our friendly tour guide!

Happy Monday to all our fine feathered friends! The West Palm Beach waterfront extravaganza on this past Friday night was thrilling! We are excited to have the new waterfront finally opened and ready to be enjoyed by all. DivaDuck will take you through the heart of West Palm Beach so you will be able to see the entire park from the Duck!

Here at DivaDuck we have been very busy over the past few weeks entertaining many families from the New York area. In fact, last week every tour was sold out! We are very grateful to have such a loyal following - some folks come back many times with out of town guests. They tell us that DivaDuck is one of the top Fun Things To Do while entertaining family and guests. The newspaper Boca Life gave the DivaDuck the 'Best of South Florida' award in 2008 and we just received the 'Best Sightseeing Tour' award from the City of West Palm Beach! Thank you, we love you all!

Super game last night and congratulations to both teams for an entertaining evening. The Saints brought home the much needed spirit of success to New Orleans and Louisiana. Go Big Easy!

DivaDuck has been enjoying the weather and the wonderful passengers! This week will be a busy one with many charter groups and even a trip to Peanut Island, our first time in 3 years! The crew is excited to take the adventure and we are also providing box lunches from Panera Bread.

There are many Fun Things To Do in West Palm Beach. Of course DivaDuck is a great way to see a lot of the area during our 75 minute guided sightseeing tour over land & sea. CityPlace is a good place to shop eat and just sit and relax under the beautiful Date Palm trees. Jump on the Trolley and check out the new waterfront and Clematis Street. This Thursday from 6-10pm Clematis by Night will be hosting the Super Clematis street festival in honor of the Super Bowl. Hello from Sunny Florida! The weather is back to normal temperatures now and that means outdoor family activities are back at the top of the list. A ride in the DivaDuck, a stroll around CityPlace then a slice of Pizza from City Pizza, visit the downtown waterfront, splash around in the downtown fountain (yes you can!) and finally stop for a drink at one of our many outdoor bars at CityPlace.
