Peanut Island Tour begins Monday July 23rd
Diva Duck Amphibious Tours just received a temporary permit to take tours around Peanut Island beginning Monday July 23rd. We will be operating Monday through Friday only, until the boat ramps at Currie Park reopen. The ramps at Currie Park are being rebuilt and should be completed by mid-September. The last day for the Peanut Island tour is Friday August 24th. After that day, we will be taking a couple of weeks off to perform our end of season maintenance. We expect to be back to a full schedule, including weekends by mid September. We have not changed our pickup location in City Place. We are still picking up passengers at the corner of South Rosemary Avenue and Hibiscus. The Peanut Island tour permit is only for a few more weeks. So don’t miss your chance to float by the JFK nuclear bunker on Peanut Island that protected our late President during the Cuban Missile Crisis. You will also see the famously clear waters under the Blue Heron Bridge that was voted a “Top Ten Dive Site in the World” by PADI’s Sport Diver magazine. The tour will be a little longer than our regular tour, but the price is the same. So you get something new and more bang for your buck!
